What cute animal are you?

I'm sorry there isn't a picture of my progress, but there is no sunshine.
Just a HUGE thunderstorm.
So here is a fun quiz for you.
Can you believe that I'm a cute frog?

You Are A: Frog!

froggyIndependent yet still part of a large community, frogs are unique creatures known for their distinctive sound and ability to hop. As a frog, you spend your days sitting on lily pads or climbing trees, searching for delicious insects to eat. While there are some frogs that aren't exactly cute, you are certainly not one of those!

You were almost a: Parakeet or a Monkey
You are least like a: Lamb or a BunnyTake the Cute Animal Test!

My Plan for "Knitting World Cup"

I have decided to jump onto the "Knitting World Cup" bandwagon. I will continue with my project that I started for the "Knitting Olympics".

I am knitting with red Butterfly 10 Cotton. I think I am up to the point where you split the fronts from the back.

I'll try to get a picture of my progress tomorrow when there is some sunlight.

Knitting World Cup

First the Yarn Harlot started the Knitting Olympics and now we have the Knitting World Cup!
Casting on June 9 at 11 am. CDT and continuing until the final whistle on July 9, 2006. I think I will just knit the sweater that I was working during the Knitting Olympics. Maybe I'll get to wear it this year!

If you are interested, you can find the web page HERE.

And if you are a spinner, there will be the
Tour de Fleece starting on July 1, 2006.
You can get more information HERE.

Leaf Lace Shawl

I finally finished and blocked the Leaf Lace Shawl. It is a Fibertrends pattern and I used 8 ply Wool Pak from Babajoe's. I have already used it. I always take a wrap to the movies because they keep it so cold in there.

If you have heard of podcasts and would like to listen to one of my favorites, click on the button of the spinner with the iPod. Brenda Dayne talks about her knitting and plays independent music and I really do enjoy it.
