I finished another Wonderful Wallaby. I changed the neckline because I didn't have enough yarn for a hood or even a collar. The little rolled edge looks just fine. I like to use Encore for all my kids' clothing. It washes up so well!
The Wonderful Wallaby is one of my all time favorite sweaters! I have made 5 of them (the 1st one 20+ years ago)one of the only patterns that I have made more than once~ Yours is adorable in pastel stripes!
I was considering a Wallaby but I switched to Lillie's Little Sweater for my new baby sweater. Nature spun (my little addiction) knits up smoothly and easily for the Cottage Creation patterns.

I love this!! I need to try it with the rolled collar. Kids won't actually wear the hood anyway. It's a great pattern, I've made three of them.
